VFX SUpervisor
& Digital Matte-Painter

STRATEGIC VFX CONSULTANT

I am a seasoned VFX Supervisor and Digital Matte Painter with over 20 years of experience in the global visual effects industry.

Having worked for acclaimed studios such as DNEG, Framestore, and MPC, I have contributed to more than 40 major film and TV productions including The Gilded Age, Thor: The Dark World, Terminator Genisys, Blade Runner 2049, Avengers: Endgame, Quantum of Solace, Dredd, Hellboy II, and The Bourne Ultimatum.

My creative expertise spans environment art, set extension, photorealistic matte painting, and projection techniques. I am recognized for combining strong artistic vision with deep technical knowledge—whether crafting invisible effects that seamlessly blend with live action, or designing bold digital environments that elevate cinematic storytelling.

As a VFX Supervisor, on set or in house, I guide productions through every step of the process: from preparation, VFX breakdowns, bidding, and visual development to vendor management and cross-departmental collaboration. I believe in meticulous preparation to eliminate last-minute surprises on set, and in fostering strong partnerships to ensure visual effects are delivered at the highest quality—on time and on budget.

Beyond my creative expertise, I have held senior leadership roles as Head of Studio at MPC Montreal and Head of CG at DNEG in London and Montreal.

In these positions, I managed large-scale productions, scaled teams across multiple sites, and aligned technology, production, and creative departments to deliver complex projects under tight deadlines.
This experience gives me a unique vantage point: I understand both the business and creative imperatives of high-end productions, and know how to bring them into alignment.

As a consultant, I help studios, production companies, and creative organizations reduce risks and optimize operations. My support covers project preparation, budget forecasting, vendor strategy, pipeline and toolset evaluations, and talent structure.

I am particularly focused on eliminating inefficiencies before they turn into costly overruns, and on building collaboration frameworks that allow creative talent to thrive while keeping productions on schedule and on budget.

Drawing from two decades at the crossroads of artistry and strategy, I empower clients to navigate today’s volatile production landscape with confidence and clarity.

SOME PAST PROJECTS
